How to share your work with us . . .

What We're Looking For

At Scribeworth, we’re always on the lookout for fresh voices and compelling narratives that push the boundaries of popular fiction, literary fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. Whether you’re an emerging writer or an established author, we invite you to share your work with us for publication consideration. We publish on a quarterly basis: March, June, September, December. Our inaugural issue will be published in March 2025.

We Like:

Fiction (Literary, Popular, and Upmarket): We’re drawn to stories that inspire, captivate and entertain, whether it’s through gripping plotlines, memorable characters, or imaginative worlds. From literary fiction to fantasy and sci-fi, we’re interested in thought-provoking, narratives that connect with a wide range of readers.

Literary Fiction: We appreciate nuanced stories that explore the human condition, delving deep into character development and offering layered, thought-provoking themes. Whether your work is introspective, experimental, or minimalist, we’re interested in prose that pushes boundaries and evokes a strong emotional or intellectual response from the reader.

Poetry: Send us poems that make us feel. We are especially drawn to free verse, but we appreciate any work that moves us emotionally and showcases a mastery of language.

Creative Non-Fiction: If you have a true story to tell that is engaging and resonates with universal themes, we’d love to read it. We seek essays and memoirs that offer new perspectives and thoughtful reflections on life experiences.

We focus on work with secular themes, and are not seeking religious works.
